I love rendering the color, textures and shapes of old tools. This is one of my father's old woodworking planes. I could still use it if I could figure out the best way to sharpen the blade.
My Dad had several of these that he used all the time when I was growing up, Jeff. I used to sit nearby and catch the curls of woodshavings as they fell! You should have a go at sharpening the blade using a wetstone and some oil.
